Save the Planet… er… wallet
Thursday, April 24th, 2008The Expedition now has 175K miles on it and is getting around 12-14 MPG running back and forth to STL. Once a week I have to fill up and with our new lovely gas prices, this costs me about $100 per fill up.
So, I decided, it was time to “save the environment”!! <ok… save the leather wallet at least> I picked up a beautiful used bike. It’s a 2005 Yamaha V-Star 1100 with only 3500 miles on it. This should get me somewhere in the neighborhood of 40-50 mpg. Evan loves the bike and especially likes the flames.
